Update On Juice Robinson Wrestling Future After NJPW Contract Expires IMPACT

There has been some clarification on Juice Robinson’s NJPW departure, ahead of his final appearance for the company under contract.

Robinson recently confirmed that he does not plan to travel back over to Japan after his current contract expires on April 30. The former IWGP US Champion stated that he no longer has the urge to wrestle, leading fans to speculate that he’d be hanging his boots up for good at the end of the month.

Fightful Select (subscription required) now notes that Robinson has reiterated that he is not retiring. The report stated that Robinson didn’t want to be under contract when he didn’t believe that he could fulfil required duties, as he will likely be working less dates moving forward.

Robinson’s last appearance under contract for NJPW is set for this Saturday, teaming with David Finlay & Brody King to do battle with Shane Haste, JONAH & Bad Dude Tito in a Chicago Street Fight at Windy City Riot.
