Former IWGP Women’s Champion KAIRI aka Kairi Sane has been announced for an upcoming show, ahead of her return to WWE.
It was previously reported that Kairi Sane is set to return to WWE following her exit from the company in December 2021.
While the initial report stated that her return could be ‘imminent’, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer stated that Kairi has two more dates scheduled in Japan to fulfil.
Kairi Sane has now been announced for a new show, with the popular star set to compete for GLEAT on September 20 at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, Japan.
This is in addition to her previously announced appearances for Sendai Girls’ on September 2, and All Japan on September 8.
While Kairi hasn’t confirmed her return to WWE, she has stated that she will be going on an ‘indefinite hiatus’ at the end of September.
Details recently emerged on Kairi Sane’s reasons for returning to WWE, with the Japanese star reportedly wanting to work more dates that NJPW and STARDOM parent company Bushiroad wanted her to.
