On this week’s (March 7) episode of Raw, Kevin Owens officially invited ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin onto the Kevin Owens show, which the Texas Rattlesnake later accepted in a video he shared online.
The Austin video aired during this week’s episode of SmackDown, before it was announced that Kevin Owens would respond on tomorrow night’s episode of Raw from Jacksonville. However, that apparently wasn’t always the plan.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Owens was listed internally by the company for a promo segment on this week’s SmackDown, which was to be produced by Jason Jordan, but WWE ultimately ended up airing the Austin video instead.
It was previously reported that, while not an official match, Austin is preparing for a ‘fight scene’ in Dallas.
