Wrestling standout Konosuke Takeshita has revealed when he plans to return to AEW and the US.
Takeshita made his AEW debut in April, during his international excursion. He quickly gained popularity within the promotion following impressive showings against top names including Eddie Kingston, Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley.
Takeshita left the US on August 12, last wrestling for AEW during the August 10 Dark: Elevation taping, against Cezar Bononi.
Speaking with Cultaholic, Takeshita revealed that he’s hoping to return to the US in October.
Noting that a return to the US would also allow him to take more UK bookings, Takeshita said:
“My next goal is more fights in AEW I hope. So I have to go to back to Japan in August and September. Maybe, not decided yet, I hope I go back to America in October. Then if I stay in the US I can come to the UK more times. From Japan to the UK is so far but US to UK is maybe seven hours. It’s possible.”
Takeshita also commented on potential WWE interest, which you can read more about right here.
