WWE Hall of Famer Reveals Upcoming Documentary’s Release Date WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has announced the release date for an upcoming Peacock documentary will air this coming summer 2023.

Angle would announce in 2022 that WWE had picked up the rights for the film that was initially due to focus on his pre-WWE career, with the intention of adding more of a pro-wrestling focus.

Speaking on his The Kurt Angle Show Podcast, Angle would discuss the film’s release, and when in the summer is being planned for its release:

“All I know is it’s going to be in the summer,”

“I don’t know anything else. That’s what Alex Perry, the director and producer of [the documentary], told me. Hopefully, it’ll be on by June.”

WWE’s documentaries have been in the news for all the right reasons lately with WWE and Peacock’s ‘Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair’ receiving the company’s first ever sports Emmy nomination.

WWE and A&E’s recent documentary on ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes would also be well-received, something acknowledged by Dusty’s son Cody Rhodes, following his role as executive producer for the show.
