WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has recorded a hilarious video as part of an ongoing storyline in All Elite Wrestling.
Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale have been allied on AEW television for a number of months, with the two recently making waves in tag team action.
Though Willow and Kris are picking up wins as a team, Stokely Hathaway has been attempting to win over Statlander to let him be her manager.
This led to a hilarious introduction of the pair on this week’s Rampage show, with Stokely flattering Kris with compliments, and less so for Willow.
While Statlander and Willow are not very accepting of Stokely, he has elicited the help of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, who recorded a video explaining why Willow and Kris should give Stokely a chance.
He said:
“Willow and Stat, it’s former World Champion Kurt Angle, and it hurts me deeply how you treated my boy. Stokely had a flight to Japan to run over Moxley with a Mitsubishi at Wrestle Kingdom, but he chose to be on Rampage to watch you two live. That, to me, is a changed man. 2024 is for the short, bald kings with a so-so credit score. Oh, it’s true. It’s damn true. #GiveStokelyAChance.”
After Kurt’s ringing endorsement of Stokely, he broke our hearts by seemingly revealing that his endorsement was not genuine, adding:
“Okay, I’m glad that’s freaking done. Stokely, where’s my money, or am I going to have to kick your ass?”
