LA Knight Reveals WWE WrestleMania 40 Plans?

SmackDown star LA Knight has commented on the possibility of him facing a certain WWE champion at WrestleMania 40.

Several title matches have already been confirmed for the April 6-7 event, with Cody Rhodes set to challenge for Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Championship, and Bayley to face off against IYO SKY with SKY’s WWE Women’s Championship on the line.

With a number of championship matches still up for grabs, there’s still a chance that LA Knight earns a shot at another title between now and WrestleMania 40.

Speaking on the In The Kliq podcast, LA Knight noted that he would ‘absolutely’ be interested in the opportunity to challenge for Logan Paul’s US Championship at the upcoming event.

When asked about this potential match-up, Knight said:

“Well, I’ll tell you what, if it presents itself and that’s a thing, yeah, maybe. WrestleMania, at this point, as far as the WWE Universal Undisputed Championship, that’s already been determined. So, it’s not going to be me and Roman Reigns.

“With that being the case, am I open to another opportunity on the way to claiming my throne at some point, absolutely.”

Knight noted that he’s not sure when he’ll next cross paths with a champion, but finished by saying:

“At some point, one way or another, I’m coming for gold and I’m looking for the top spot, ’cause I can’t be in any other spot.”

Knight and Paul made enemies of one another ahead of the 2023 Money in the Bank match, which both stars competed in.

With Knight previously teasing a bout against Logan Paul, fans have speculated that the popular star could be the one to dethrone the US Champion.

Both Knight and Paul are set to compete in qualifying matches for the men’s Elimination Chamber match, with Knight to face off against Ivar on Raw (February 12) and Paul to face The Miz on SmackDown (February 16).

The winners of these matches will advance to the men’s Elimination Chamber match on February 24, which will determine the challenger for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 40.
