Lack Of SmackDown Matches At Hell In A Cell ‘Indictment’ On The Roster WWE

WWE’s next premium live event is set to take place this Sunday, as WWE Hell In A Cell streams live on the WWE Network and Peacock, and the card is rather one sided.

All of the six matches announced for the show so far come from the Raw brand, with SmackDown set to receive zero representation on the show as things stand.

There were rumours that WWE was ending the brand split, and while that may not be the case, WrestleVotes tweeted that the lack of matches from the blue brand is seen as an ‘indictment’ on the SmackDown roster, and that the brand split is ‘shot’.

They said:

The lack of SmackDown matches currently advertised for this weekends Hell In A Cell event speaks volumes. It’s an indictment on the roster a source says. While the “brand split” isn’t ending, for all intents and purposes, it’s shot.

We recently went over seven matches that WWE could potentially still add to Hell In A Cell.
