Late Changes To Plans For Last Week’s WWE Raw

Details have emerged on several plans that changed ahead of last week’s (June 13) edition of WWE Raw.

As previously reported, the main event segment for the show featuring Bobby Lashley and Theory was changed ahead of the show.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Mustafa Ali vs Chad Gable was a last minute addition to the show. Ali was reportedly originally set to face Shelton Benjamin during that night’s WWE Main Event taping.

Also on the show, Ezekiel defeated Kevin Owens via countout after Owens was distracted by the commentators calling his opponent ‘Ezekiel’, not Elias.

Fightful reports that Alpha Academy was internally listed to accompany Owens at ringside.

On tonight’s episode of Raw, Ezekiel will welcome his brother, Elias back to WWE TV to prove to Owens that he and his brother are different people.
