Liv Morgan Plans Revealed After WWE Royal Rumble Return

Liv Morgan Plans Revealed After WWE Royal Rumble Return WWE

After being out of action for six months, Liv Morgan returned at the WWE Royal Rumble getting down to the final two in the women’s match.

Liv Morgan entered at Number 30 but was unable to eliminate the number 3 entrant, Bayley, who would go on to win the women’s Royal Rumble match on January 27, 2024.

Speaking in a WWE Digital Exclusive after Raw, Morgan revealed what was different about her latest return, saying:

“I was the very last woman eliminated from the Rumble this year, just like I was the very last woman eliminated last year.

“So, yay for me, I came so close twice, but what’s different is close is just not good enough anymore.

“I want more. I need more. And, luckily for me, I don’t need to win the Rumble to get what I want. Watch me.”

Morgan suffered an injury in July 2023 – which in storyline was at the hands of Rhea Ripley – leading Morgan to a hiatus to heal up.

During her time away from WWE, Morgan was arrested in Florida for ‘possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams)’ and ‘possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoid’.

The arrest took place on December 14, 2023, with details of the arrest report emerging shortly thereafter.

It was also previously reported that WWE ‘top executives’ were aware of the arrest and it ‘doesn’t appear to have hurt Morgan’s standing within the company.’
