ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli had a hilarious response to a question about his rivalry with Eddie Kingston after AEW All Out.
Since his return in June 2023, Kingston has been in a feud with Castagnoli that looks like it may have come to a head in the tag match on September 3 2023.
Of course, the feud actually went back way beyond that years ago in Chikara before reigniting in AEW last year.
On AEW All Out, Blackpool Combat Club (Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) defeated the team of Eddie Kingston and Katsuyori Shibata.
In a backstage interview (which can be seen below this news story), Castagnoli was asked if the match marked the end of his feud with Kingston.
Castagnoli would take a moment to consider his answer before stating with perfectly deadpan delivery:
“I sure as hell hope so.”
Walking off with a smirking Yuta in tow, that’s all the ROH World Champion had to say on the matter.
