A new report has revealed a major AEW name has “stepped back” from their role.
Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling, one of the key behind-the-scenes names has been AEW Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Parekh has largely stepped back from her AEW duties over the last few months.
The report notes that there has not been an official job title change or adjustment as of yet. It is also unknown whether or not the AEW Chief Legal Officer will resume or accelerate AEW related duties.
However, Chris Peck has largely taken over many of the things that Parekh was doing in the company.
The word within All Elite Wrestling as of October was that they believed Megha was shifting her focus to a stadium deal related to the Jacksonville Jaguars and less on AEW.
It remains to be seen if a job change will be officially announced for Megha Parekh in the future.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Megha Parekh’s role in AEW when they become available.
