A major AEW star has taken to Twitter today to announce that they are ‘out indefinitely’ ahead of an upcoming championship match.
Kenny Omega today tweeted the following:
I can’t really sugar coat this. I’m out indefinitely. I tried to keep pushing past the pain for as long as I could until it became too much.
Luckily doctors caught me when they did. I’ll be here so in the mean time, please enjoy wrestling!
Omega was set to team with Chris Jericho to face Big Bill and Ricky Starks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW Worlds End on December 30.
The specifics of Omega’s injury are not yet known, but we will provide more information as it becomes available.
We send our well wishes to Omega and wish him a full and complete recovery from the injury.
