It looks like WWE star Becky Lynch is unable to travel to a big upcoming show.
Lynch announced the news on social media today.
Ahead of Friday’s September 8 WWE Superstar Spectacle event in India, Lynch tweeted:
I’m sorry to all the fans in Hyderabad, India. I was so excited to perform for you – but as there was a tiny tear in my passport l have not been allowed to board my flight. @qatarairways
No opponent had been announced for Lynch.
If there’s an update on the situation and she ends up being able to travel, we’ll let you know.
Lynch’s real-life husband Seth Rollins is announced for match at Superstar Spectacle, teaming with John Cena against Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
Rhea Ripley will be defending the WWE Women’s World Championship against Natalya.
Another confirmed match is Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs Indus Sher. Shanky and NXT’s Bron Breakker are also announced.
The show isn’t expected to be broadcast anywhere other than in India itself.
As for Lynch, on next week’s NXT, she’ll be challenging Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Championship.
