Marina Shafir has commented on her shock WWE release yesterday.
Taking to Twitter, Shafir thanked WWE for the opportunity, but said that she will continue to be “the hardest worker in the motherf**king room”:
It’s a cold world. Good thing I was born in Moldova. Thank you to everyone who reached out and thank you for the opportunity @WWENXT. I will continue to be the hardest worker in the motherf**king room, but now i need to be keen. I’m not done.
Marina Shafir joined WWE in 2018 as one of the Four Horsewomen. She worked in NXT with Shayna Baszler after signing, but she and Jessamyn Duke weren’t brought up to the main roster with Baszler last year.
Shafir’s last match for WWE came on the January 27 episode of 205 Live, where she and Zoey Stark teamed to take on Ember Moon and Shotzi Black in the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
