AEW star Mark Briscoe has shared a sweet tribute to his tag team partner & real-life brother Jay Briscoe who tragically passed away in 2023.
Taking to Twitter to share a heartfelt message on what would have been Jay’s birthday, Mark shared his thoughts in his signature jovial and positive tone.
Mark Briscoe wrote:
“Happy birthday dawg! My life-long partner, brother, best friend, worst enemy, and the Jimi Hendrix of this pro rasslin’ s**t! Love you dawg, blow all them candles out in one good shot up there #demboys”
Briscoe continues to appear in AEW as well as ROH, recently appearing on AEW Dynamite with a powerful tribute to his fallen brother Jay.
Appearing alongside Mark were his nieces who survived the tragic auto accident that claimed the life of Jay Briscoe.
Despite being told that she may never walk again, Jay’s daughter walked out to join Mark ahead of a tribute video to Jay Briscoe.
