AEW star Matt Hardy has given fans an update on his brother Jeff Hardy amid speculation of their potential WWE return.
On the February 16 edition of AEW Rampage, Jeff Hardy suffered a broken nose in his bout against Sammy Guevara and has been sidelined ever since. Following his injury, Jeff’s brother Matt Hardy stated that he had some tests because he was having issues with his sinuses.
Meanwhile, Matt recently has seen his name in the headlines over his ongoing contract negotiations with All Elite Wrestling.
In a new interview with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone, Matt Hardy was asked for an update on Jeff. He answered:
“He’s doing okay. Yeah, his vision issues are good. He had to have surgery on his nose.”
“He had some issues with his sinuses, so he had surgery, so he’s still got three or four more weeks before he will be cleared to return,”
WrestleTalk wishes Jeff Hardy the best in the recovery from his injury.
