Matt Hardy Pitches Hardy Boyz ‘Generational Dream Match’ For WWE WrestleMania 42

Former WWE star and current TNA Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy has pitched what he described as a generational dream match for WrestleMania 42.

New WWE World Tag Team Champions were crowned on the December 29 Raw episode, with Jimmy & Jey Uso defeating AJ Styles & Dragon Lee for the gold.

Matt Hardy took to Twitter following this match with a congratulatory message, and a pitch for the April 18-19.

Pitching a Hardys vs Usos vs New Day match, Matt Hardy wrote:

Congrats, @WWEUsos! Well deserved win as you guys absolutely killed it.

Maybe at @WrestleMania, it’s time for The Usos vs The New Day vs The Hardy Boyz in a generational dream match.

Matt Hardy later shared a follow-up post, writing:

SOOO.. People are wanting a TLC match?

Matt and Jeff Hardy have wrestled for WWE several times as part of the NXT-TNA Wrestling crossover, notably winning the NXT Tag Team Championship at Showdown on October 7.

They held the title for less than a month, losing the gold to DarkState at Halloween Havoc on October 25.
