Mercedes Mone/Sasha Banks Reveals ‘Unfinished Business’ With Current AEW Star

Mercedes Mone (formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE) has revealed her ‘unfinished business’ with current AEW star Willow Nightingale.

After Mercedes Mone was injured facing Willow Nightingale to become the inaugural NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, she says she has never watched back the footage.

In a new interview with fellow AEW star Renee Paquette, Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks in WWE) revealed that she has unfinished business with Nightingale because she doesn’t know what happened to cause that injury.

She noted wondering if she was pushed by Willow, if she slipped or ‘if somebody paid off the ref’, she said she doesn’t know Willow.

Not knowing her or what she was capable of, Mone planned to not only keep an eye on Nightingale but also mentioned appearing at AEW Dynamite next week in Toronto to continue to scout the AEW Women’s division.

Elsewhere in the chat, Mone also mentioned again her mission to lead an AEW Revolution on a global stage with the ability to compete in Japan, Mexico and the UK.
