Mia Yim has commented on her absence from WWE TV, providing clarification on her current status with the company.
Yim, formerly RETRIBUTION’s RECKONING, last wrestled during a December 2020 episode of Main Event against Nikki Cross. She hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since RETRIBUTION was broken up in March.
Yim has now confirmed that she isn’t currently side-lined due to an injury, tweeting:
“I’m not injured.”
The former RETRIBUTION member was moved to SmackDown following the group’s split, before being moved back to Raw.
Yim’s fiance, Keith Lee, revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this year, and Yim only tested positive after choosing to take care of him, causing her to miss her Royal Rumble match.
Last month, it was reported that WWE plan to repackage Keith Lee. You can read about Lee’s potential new character here.
