Mick Foley Names ‘Big Time Player’ He’s Happy To See Back In WWE

The main event of last week’s WWE Raw show saw a big return to close out the night.

WWE Hall of Famer Lita made her return to WWE to aid Becky Lynch during her Steel Cage match against Bayley, fighting off Dakota Kai and IYO SKY to help Becky pick up the win.

Lita hasn’t appeared on WWE television since last year’s Elimination Chamber event, where she lost a Raw Women’s Championship match against Lynch.

She has since done work for an upcoming episode of WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures on A&E alongside WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, who spoke about Lita’s return on his Foley Is Pod podcast.

Foley said that he’s happy to see Lita back in the fold, as she is a big time player for the company, as well as it creating a big storyline for Becky Lynch heading into WrestleMania.

“I’m happy to see Lita back in the fold. For those of you who may have heard about a show we may or may not be doing together.

“Lita and I were always good friends, but we’d become really tight through the course of this project, and I’m really happy for her. She’s a big-time player.

“My worry coming out of the Royal Rumble was what lay in store for Becky Lynch, but it seems like the man is going to be taken care of come ‘Mania time.”

Lita’s return last week seems to be setting up another big return on tonight’s (February 13) episode of Raw.

Lita’s return also seems to be setting up a big match for this weekend’s Elimination Chamber event.
