Another IMPACT Championship To Be Vacated?

Another IMPACT Championship To Be Vacated? WWE

Tonight’s IMPACT Wrestling pay-per-view Sacrifice offered the answer as to the future for Mickie James’ Knockouts Championship.

After being announced as out of action with injury and unable to compete at tonight’s IMPACT pay-per-view, what is the future plan for Mickie James’ IMPACT Knockouts Championship?

While it was announced on the pay-per-view that not only would Mickie James not be defending her title tonight against Jordynne Grace, she also would not be able to compete at the upcoming event, Multiverse United.

Instead, the previously announced Fatal Four way for the event (a joint event between IMPACT and NJPW titled ‘Multiverse United’) will proceed without her.

This will pit IMPACT’s Deonna Purrazzo and Gisele Shaw against TJPW’s Miyu Yamashita.

The winner of that match will go on to face Jordynne Grace at IMPACT Rebellion.

If Mickie James is cleared to compete, the match will also include her however if not she will relinquish the Championship.

Mickie James captured the IMPACT Knockouts Championship from Jordynne Grace in a Title vs. Career match in January 2023 at IMPACT Hard to Kill on pay-per-view.

Earlier today it had already been announced that Josh Alexander had vacated the IMPACT World Championship due to an injury.
