Return Of CM Punk
While CM Punk returned on the August 10 AEW Dynamite, we didn’t hear from the AEW World Champion until tonight (August 17) where he took to the microphone to first call out Hangman Adam Page (with no response) and next Jon Moxley but no mention of former foe, MJF.
With the announcement later in the show that the AEW World Championship unification match would actually take place on the August 24 edition of AEW Dynamite in lieu of at the upcoming AEW pay-per-view All Out, as many expected, there is a big MJF sized hole in the storyline of CM Punk.
In the event CM Punk wins the unification match and the undisputed AEW World Championship, MJF would be a notable option for an opponent for All Out.
