Shocking moments and returns were all over tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, but perhaps one of the most surprising was the announcement of next week’s Dynamite main event.
To kick off tonight’s show, CM Punk came to the ring and took many verbal jabs at several top AEW stars, before he and Mox exchanged a war of words, ending in a huge pull apart brawl.
Later in the night, Moxley came out to the ring and called Punk out, and the two went at it once again, resulting in another pull apart brawl.
The match was seemingly set for the main event of All Out, but it turns out that won’t be the case, as AEW has now announced that the unification match between Punk and Moxley will take place on next week’s Dynamite in Cleveland.
Also set for next week’s show is the first round Trios Championship tournament match between NJPW’s United Empire and Death Triangle, as well as a singles match between Dax Harwood and Jay Lethal.
