MJF has entered into a war of words with a major combat sports star.
The new AEW World Champion has recently taken on MMA fighter Paddy Pimblett in discourse warfare.
MJF kindly screenshotted the exchange from Instagram and shared it on Twitter so we could all take a look.
In it, Paddy Pimblett urges MJF to get his boss (Tony Khan) to sign him up for a ‘real fight’ in UFC.
Pimblett said he would be ready for Maxwell Jacob Friedman should he find himself in Pimblett’s neck of the woods, Fulham, West London.
Things got heated as MJF mentioned AEW would be coming to the UK soon, only for Pimblett to fire back with accusations that the self-proclaimed Devil could not pass a drug test in order to compete.
He said:
“…get ur boss @tonyrkhan to message my boss @danawhite and see what we can sort 🤗 because I know full well you won’t pass a USADA drug test to fight in the @ufc 🤣🤣🤣”
MJF did not hold back and responded in kind, calling Paddy Pimblett the “dollar store Connor McGregor,” and said that his “Will from strangers things looking ass wouldn’t last two seconds in my world.”
Check out the full exchange below.
MJF captioned the screenshots with “See you around “baddy.”
The Best in the World also had an explanation for his lapses in grammar in the post, explaining:
“Grammar off cuz I’m talking s**t to this clown while going 100mph on the stair master.”
No rest for the wicked, indeed.
Paddy Pimblett currently competes in the Lightweight division in UFC. In 22 matches, he has 19 wins and three losses.
WrestleTalk will keep you posted on any updates on his AEW x UFC feud.
