Former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Shane Strickland, a.k.a. Killshot in Lucha Underground and a notble name in CZW, has signed a long-term contract with Major League Wrestling, according to PWInsider.
This signing of such a popular indie wrestler comes in the wake of MLW Battle Riot, a two-hour prime-time event hosted by beIN Sports. This is an interesting signing, as WWE were reportedly keen on talent.
The signing comes in the wake of MLW‘s television troubles with the possibility of Xfinity getting rid of their beIN Sports channels.

Hopefully, the Xfinity deal with beIN Sports doesn’t fall through, otherwise this long-term deal may not be as advantageous as Strickland would have hoped.
