More WWE Raw Scrapped Plans Revealed (February 13) WWE

More scrapped plans for this week’s (February 13) edition of WWE Monday Night Raw have now been revealed.

As previously reported, WWE nixed plans for the return of Hall of Famer Trish Stratus on the episode, following Lita’s return on last week’s show.

This was not the only thing nixed from this week’s show, with there also reportedly being plans for WWE stars to get into the holiday spirit.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), WWE had ‘tons of props’ backstage for a Valentine’s themed segment, that ultimately didn’t happen.

While the Vince McMahon creative regime got a reputation for last minute WWE Raw changes, Triple H’s team have made their fair share of changes to plans ahead of recent shows.

One of the most talked-about examples of this was when the Becky Lynch vs Bayley steel cage match that was advertised for Raw 30 in January was moved to another show.

The February 13 episode was eventful, with it being the final red brand event before Elimination Chamber this weekend.

In the main event of the show, Bianca Belair defeated Bayley and Becky Lynch in a triple threat bout to prevent them from being added to the Raw Women’s Title #1 contenders Elimination Chamber bout.

Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes also had a promo segment with Sami Zayn which fuelled speculation about Zayn’s title bout at Elimination Chamber, as well as the WrestleMania 39 main event.
