MVP Says He Wanted Bianca Belair To Join The Hurt Business

MVP made his return to WWE in the 2020 Royal Rumble match, and has since gone on to find a new lease of life as the manager for Bobby Lashley, accompanying the All Mighty as he captured both the United States and WWE Championships.

MVP would also recruit Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander along the way, who themselves went on to capture the Raw Tag Team Championship, in a group known as the Hurt Business.

The Hurt Business were close to securing all the gold on the red brand during their time on Raw, with only the Raw Women’s Championship never entering their grasp.

MVP was a guest on WWE After the Bell, where he was speaking about the Women’s Royal Rumble match. MVP said that he thinks Bianca Belair will win the match, before revealing that he wanted her to join the Hurt Business.

He said:

“I am a Bianca Belair fan and I’ll have everybody know behind the scenes I was actually talking to Bianca Belair a bit about potentially adding her to an organization, a faction that I used to be a part of. There were lots of people talking about ‘hey, you need a woman in the group,’ and there were some discussions with Bianca but things went in a different way. I said that to say this: I am a fan of Bianca Belair and I believe that when you talk about the WWE Women’s Championship and if Bianca Belair isn’t in that conversation, I don’t want to have it.”

MVP also spoke about Brock Lesnar in the interview, saying that he thinks he is ‘soft’ for working a part-time schedule.
