A mystery partner has now been revealed for a big sponsored match coming up on AEW Dynamite on November 15.
In a crossover with SEGA’s video game, ‘Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name’, AEW Dynamite is holding a ;Like a Dragon Gaiden Street Fight’ in Oakland, California.
While the match is presumed to settle the bad blood boiling between the two sides, now the final member of Team Callis has been revealed.
After a backstage segment featured Don Callis and Prince Nana “finalizing business,” it was later revealed on AEW Rampage tonight that Brian Cage is going to be the final member of the team.
Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi and Paul Wight will take on the Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs and Kyle Fletcher) plus Brian Cage.
AEW has been known to dabble in pop culture crossovers for a match, including those sponsored by gaming releases.
Recently there was a Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death match on the August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite which saw the promotional proceeds from the partnership donated to charities supporting the wildfires that impacted Hawaii.
