The card has finally been confirmed for Sunday’s NJPW’s return to the United States with Fighting Spirit Unleashed.
The event will take place at Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California and will air live on New Japan World.
In the main event, Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega will meet again as part of a mouth-watering tag clash. Omega will team with Golden Lovers partner Kota Ibushi against Okada and Tomohiro Ishii.
On the undercard, new NWA World Champion Cody will receive a shot at IWGP US Champion Juice Robinson, who won the title from Jay White in a thriller the last time NJPW came to America.
There will also be a clash of significance between Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll, with the winner going onto meet KUSHIDA in a match to crown the IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion, which is currently vacant after the horrible injury suffered by Hiromu Takahashi at the last US event.
A good chunk of the rest of the card is made up of talent for NJPW’s American partner promotion Ring Of Honor.
