New Wrestling Series Coming To The CW Network Ahead Of WWE NXT Premiere? WWE

A new wrestling series featuring the NWA is coming to The CW Network ahead of the WWE NXT premiere in October 2024.

In the fall of 2023, WWE announced that the NXT series will be moving to The CW Network starting in October 2024.

This followed news of the NWA and CW partnering to bring the company to their streaming service and potentially to their network. Eight older episodes of NWA Powerrr went up on the streaming service last year.

Last week, an announcement was made that new weekly episodes of Powerrr will stream on the service starting in February.

In a Thursday podcast appearance, NWA announcer Joe Galli revealed that the rumored reality show based on the promotion will air on the CW Network as opposed to the CW streaming service. Galli said:

“I will let you know that our secondary show, which I think a lot of podcasts and people have already talked about which is basically a reality show…is going to be CW on their traditional network, that will be really interesting to help tie people in and that’s more of a decision from CW to try to get people to migrate over to the app.”

Based on past reports, the new show is a reality series based on the life of NWA owner and Smashing Pumpkins founder Billy Corgan which will include a focus on his recent wedding.

It’s unknown how much of a presence the National Wrestling Alliance will have on the upcoming show.

Neither CW nor NWA have officially made the announcement at the time of this writing.

WrestleTalk will provide further updates on NWA’s new reality show on the CW when they become available.
