A backstage note has emerged on discussions surrounding a new member for AEW’s Blackpool Combat Club faction.
Ahead of Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley joining forces under the wing of William Regal, Danielson had told Mox that they could both show the likes of Lee Moriarty, Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta the correct way in a promo on Dynamite.
Yuta was recently welcomed into the faction following his star-making match against Moxley on the April 8 edition of Rampage.
Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was backstage talk of Daniel Garcia being part of the stable, before Jericho personally picked Garcia to join his Jericho Appreciation Society group.
Garcia recently addressed his on-screen association with Jericho, and Danielson expressing interest in working with him, which you can read more about right here.
The Blackpool Combat Club picked up a victory over Brock Anderson, Dante Martin & Lee Moriarty on Wednesday’s edition of Dynamite.
