Details have emerged on nixed pitches for Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 38, in the midst of her WWE TV absence.
Bliss last wrestled at Elimination Chamber in February, with that appearance being her first match since Extreme Rules September 2021.
Prior to WrestleMania 38, the former Raw Women’s Champion publicly voiced her frustrations about being kept off WWE TV, leading many to speculate that she could make an appearance during the two-night event.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), despite Bliss ultimately not returning at WrestleMania 38, creative was told that she was willing to work the event.
There were reportedly pitches for Bliss to be involved with the Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair Raw Women’s Championship match in some way, which were shot down.
Bliss has reportedly been very vocal about her frustration about how she’s being used, with some talent noting that she has voiced her frustrations directly to Vince McMahon backstage.
