NJPW have announced the first matches for their return to Florida on Saturday March 20 for Strong Style Evolved 2022.
Former WWE stars will collide on the show when the former Isaiah Swerve Scott, now known as Sw3rve, will face Blake Christian. Sw3rve made his official NJPW Strong debut at the “Rivals” event in California over the weekend.
His opponent from that show, Switchblade Jay White will continue his “US of Jay Open Challenge” against a mystery opponent at Strong Style Evolved 2022.
White won’t be the only familiar face from All Elite Wrestling on the show though.
AEW star Jay Lethal will go one-on-one with New Japan’s own Ren Narita.
Finally, another former WWE star Mascara Dorada will face TJP. This is a rematch from the Cruiserweight Classic Finals back in 2016 when Dorada was known as Gran Metallik.
