NXT Dream Match Added To WWE UK Tournament Special

WWE has released a statement adding a new “dream match” to the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament.

WWE issued the following:

“In what amounts to a veritable dream match for the NXT Universe, NXT Champion Aleister Black & Ricochet will take on EC3 & Velveteen Dream inside the Royal Albert Hall at the NXT U.K. Championship Special.

“Featuring four of the black-and-yellow brand’s most elite Superstars, the tag team duel creates a fascinating cross-section of diverse ring styles and personalities, and there’s no telling how well these combinations of singles competitors will gel.

“Stoic NXT Champion Black possesses arguably the top striking game in sports-entertainment, while his tag team partner, the cool and collected ‘One and Only’, is an outlandishly gifted aerialist who accumulates as many frequent-flyer miles inside the ring as he does traveling around the globe. Their opponents, meanwhile, consist of an out-of-this-world powerhouse in EC3 (who proclaims to be NXT’s “golden goose”) and the mesmerizingly dynamic, if sometimes bewildering, Velveteen Dream.

“Will EC3 & Dream’s outsized egos allow them to compete side-by-side or, as Robert Plant sang during Led Zeppelin’s seminal performance at Royal Albert Hall in 1970, will there be a “communication breakdown”?
