A top NXT star has challenged Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to end tonight’s episode of NXT (June 6).
After attacking Ilja Dragunov backstage at NXT tonight, Bron Breakker was asked why he had taken such a bold step.
With Bron Breakker saying that he wasn’t going to let Dragunov claim to be ‘the most intense’ guy in NXT, he went a step further to prove he was the number one guy in the NXT group.
Breakker challenged WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to a match for the title on NXT.
It wasn’t made clear whether the match would take place next week or another time, but it was specifically said that it would be on NXT, not Raw.
Rollins won the brand new World Heavyweight Championship with a win over AJ Styles in the tournament final at Night of Champions, and retained it against Damian Priest on Raw last night.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE NXT, several top NXT opponents were teased for Baron Corbin as he continued making enemies at the Performance Center.
And The Rock’s daughter, Ava, made her television in-ring debut in a mixed match alongside her faction mates from Schism, the Dyad. You can click here to read all about the USA Network debut.
Also, a WWE Raw star joined the NXT Women’s Battle Royal and a new faction revealed their name as a group.
