NXT Star Suffers Possible Knee Injury At House Show (PHOTOS)

It seems as though there may have been another unfortunate casualty as injury blues continue to rain down on WWE, as Dakota Kai appears to have suffered a knee injury at an NXT house show in Green Bay, Wisconsin this past Friday.

During a six-woman tag match pitting Kai, Kairi Sane and Candice LeRae against Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, the ref threw up the ‘X’ symbol, and medical staff attended to a downed Kai.

As reported by WrestlingInc, the match continued as a regular tag match as Kai limped to the back with help from trainers.

Their sources also state that the injury seemed to have been suffered when the New Zealander was throwing strikes at her opponents.
