NXT UK Star Makes Surprise Appearance On NXT

If you’re in the UK and didn’t get to watch NXT Live, there are spoilers ahead.  Stop reading now.  Ok, you’re still here, so we’re going to tell you what happened.

NXT Live SPOILER

Kushida was set to face off against Denzel Dejournette on the WWE Network portion of NXT tonight. Denzel Dejournette makes his way out to the ring and is waiting for Kushida to enter the ring.

However, before Kushida’s music hit, 3 NXT UK stars appeared from the crowd.  Alexander Wolfe, Marcel Barthel, and Fabian Aichner attacked the young performance center attendee.

The crowd popped huge for seeing the three men, but quickly realized Imperium was missing it’s leader.  The crowd began chanting, “Where’s Walter.”

They wouldn’t be disappointed for long.  Walter’s music hit and the Ring General made his way out to the ring.

He cut a promo stating he was here to protect the sacredness of the ring.  Anyone who dishonors it will be punished.

Out came Kushida.  Kushida challenged him to a match, but Walter locked in a choke hold quickly by the massive Austrian.

It looks like the NXT UK could be a potential regular on the show.  Later on in the night, he was part of a massive brawl and locked Matt Riddle in a chokehold, too.

So, it looks like we’re getting Walter vs. Kushida on one of WWE’s brands.  They also teased of a future matchup of Riddle and Walter.  Those are two incredible feuds to be looking forward to.
