Orange Cassidy Hits Major AEW Title Milestone

Orange Cassidy Hits Major AEW Title Milestone AEW

AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy hit an impressive title milestone on Friday’s edition of Rampage.

During the August 25 show (taped August 19), Cassidy defended his gold against Aaron Solo.

Cassidy ultimately picked up the victory, dropping Solo with a Beach Break to retain his title.

This victory was a significant one, as it marked Cassidy’s 30th consecutive defence of the International Championship.

This number includes Cassidy’s defences of the title when it was still the All-Atlantic Title.

Cassidy defeated PAC to become the second ever All-Atlantic Champion on the October 12, 2022 edition of Dynamite.

The title was ‘levelled up’ to become the International Title on the March 15 Dynamite episode.

This is when Cassidy defeated Jeff Jarrett to keep the renamed gold.

During his reign, Cassidy has defeated the likes of Katsuyori Shibata, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia.

He has consistently defended the gold on AEW TV since winning the title, leading fans to speculate about the next champion.
