Original Plans For WWE TLC Title Match Revealed

At this weekend’s WWE TLC show, we have three title matches, none of which are singles titles, although that could change if Braun Strowman is fit enough to build to a match with Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura on tomorrow night’s SmackDown.

The latest title match to be announced was the Raw Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders issuing an open challenge to any team in the back, and most have predicted that it will either be Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The O.C. or Akam and Rezar of AOP answering the challenge.

According to the latest reports, the original plan for the match was indeed to have Gallows and Anderson answer the challenge and take on the Viking Raiders.

The two teams have been feuding on and off on Raw and on the WWE house show circuit, and of all the teams on Raw, it would make most sense for them to be the team to answer the call.

The report did not state whether plans have changed since Gallows and Anderson were booked in the match, so we’ll have to wait until Sunday to see who answers the call.
