Former WWE star Paige was name-dropped by Mandy Rose on Tuesday’s (July 26) edition of NXT 2.0.
During the show, Mandy Rose pointed out that she was about to pass a new NXT Women’s Championship milestone and become the fourth longest reigning Women’s Champion in the brand’s history.
Rose referenced a number of former NXT Women’s Champion, including Paige, who she briefly thanked.
Rose said:
“Tomorrow, I become the fourth longest-reigning Women’s Champion in NXT history. Goodbye Bayley, goodbye Charlotte, Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez. And tomorrow, thank you Paige, but toodaloo to you too, honey.”
WWE recognises Paige’s reign with the gold as 273 days long. As of Wednesday (July 27), Mandy Rose has held the NXT Women’s Championship for 274 days, after defeating Raquel Rodriguez (Raquel Gonzalez) for the title at NXT Halloween Havoc 2021.
Mandy Rose and Paige were both notably part of the Absolution faction with Sonya Deville in 2017.
Rose is slated to defend her Women’s Championship against Zoey Stark at NXT Heatwave.
Paige, now going by her real name Saraya, finished up with WWE earlier this month after her WWE contract expired.
