Paul Wight has reacted to recent comments made by Shaquille O’Neal surrounding a potential match between the two heavyweight athletes.
In a recent interview, O’Neal noted that he’s going to be waiting for Wight. O’Neal’s words came after Wight claimed that they need to face each other soon before the match is viewed as yesterday’s news.
Taking to Twitter to respond to O’Neal, Paul Wight tweeted:
“I’m not hard to find.”
Wight notably signed with AEW in February, before the Revolution pay-per-view. He currently announces for AEW Dark: Elevation, alongside Tony Schiavone.
O’Neal made his AEW in-ring debut in March, teaming with Jade Cargill to take on Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet. He has noted numerous times that he plans to return to the ring this summer.
Wight has also mentioned that he has “the itch so bad” to step between the ropes again. His last match was an unsanctioned contest against Randy Orton on WWE Raw last year.
