Pete Dunne Calls Out Current WWE Champion

After having returned to his former character from NXT UK, Pete Dunne has already sent a warning shot at a current WWE champion.

Pete Dunne took to Twitter to share a very interesting throwback snap, seemingly calling his shot at a current WWE Champion.

While GUNTHER may have defeated Butch in March 2023 during a singles match on SmackDown, Dunne shared a pic of a previous encounter between the pair.

More notably, at the time WALTER in the ring with Dunne at NXT UK where the pair had well regarded matches against one another during their time in the promotion.

Pete Dunne seems ready to call his shot at the Intercontinental Championship as he gave up his former Brawling Brutes ‘Butch’ moniker officially on last night’s January 19 edition of SmackDown.

After reuniting with former British Strong Style partner Tyler Bate on the SmackDown main roster, Pete Dunne seems primed to take SmackDown by storm in singles efforts.
