In attendance for tonight’s AEW Collision, a familiar face to wrestling fans in Canada and beyond: David Benoit.
David Benoit, son of Chris Benoit, was notably at ringside for tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, live from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Previously having commented that he would like to wrestle for the promotion, it is unclear if he was in attendance for any purpose other than as a fan.
You can check out a screengrab from AEW Collision (during which David Benoit was shown) below, seated to the left of Cash Wheeler.
David is certainly at a great live event as the show has kicked off already with FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) taking on Bullet Club Gold (Jay White and Juice Robinson) in a 2/3 falls match for the AEW Tag Team Championship.
Also on the card for the show, the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament for both the men’s and women’s brackets.
The women’s final will see Willow Nightingale taking on old foe Ruby Soho while the men’s final will be CM Punk taking on ‘Absolute’ Ricky Starks.
After Collision, there will be another hour of AEW with Battle of the Belts VII airing live.
