Popular AEW Star Says The Young Bucks Belong On Tag Team Mount Rushmore AEW

A popular AEW star says The Young Bucks belong on the tag team Mount Rushmore.

Dating back to 2016, The Young Bucks and FTR have traded barbs on social media and interviews about each other.

This all led to the two tag teams eventually ending up in All Elite Wrestling together when Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler signed with the promotion in 2020. The two duos have traded one win each over the course of two bouts against one another.

However, many fans were led to believe the third meeting would happen earlier this year when FTR owned three sets of tag titles and the Bucks were AEW World Tag Team Champions.

Speaking on FTR with Dax Harwood, the AEW star discussed his belief that FTR was set to face The Young Bucks in a “winner takes all” match at All Out.

After noting that he believes there was a miscommunication that led to him believing that was the plan, Dax went on to note how much he respects Matt and Nick Jackson for defining an era of tag team wrestling.

Harwood mentioned that despite their issues with The Young Bucks, there is no question that they belong on his tag team Mount Rushmore.

The Young Bucks have won tag team gold in AEW, PWG, ROH, NJPW among other promotions, while FTR are seven-time tag team champions with reigns in WWE, AEW, ROH and NJPW.

The Bucks will compete on next Wednesday, January 11 edition of AEW Dynamite when they team with Kenny Omega to face Death Triangle in an Escalera de la Muerte Match 7 for the AEW World Trios Championships.

Meanwhile, FTR will defend the IWGP World Tag Team Championships against Bishamon’s Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4.
