Whether it is factual or wishful thinking, fans got some potentially promising news today on a return date to action for WWE star Drew McIntyre.
According to PWInsider, Drew has been advertised for the March 25 episode of SmackDown scheduled to tape in Brooklyn, New York.
While it wouldn’t be the first time that local advertisements have hailed certain stars as being in attendance but later exercised the “card subject to change” option to cancel them later, there is a possibility that we could see a returning McIntyre just in time for WrestleMania.
McIntyre has been out of action as of late coping with a neck injury. You can find out more about all of the current WWE stars sidelined by injury with WrestleTalk’s WWE Injury Tracker here.
