The producer list for Monday’s (August 21) edition of WWE Raw has been revealed, with an interesting name working on the Intercontinental Title bout.
During the show, GUNTHER put his gold on the line against Chad Gable, who previously won a #1 contender’s bout to earn this title shot.
While Gable didn’t walk away with the title, he did hand GUNTHER his first one-on-one loss on the main roster, defeating the Ring General via countout.
Per Fightful Select, Gable’s former American Alpha tag partner Jason Jordan was listed as the producer for this match.
Jordan notably teamed with Gable on NXT and SmackDown between 2015 and 2017, with the duo winning both the NXT and Smackdown Tag Team Championships.
Jason Jordan also served as a producer for Gable and GUNTHER’s last clash on the July 31 Raw episode, which saw Gable survive GUNTHER’s five minute challenge, before the champion defeated Gable in non-title action.
The full producer list for Monday’s episode is as follows:
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn with Judgment Day: Michael Hayes and Shane Helms
Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle vs. New Day: Abyss
Chad Gable vs. GUNTHER: Jason Jordan
Rhea Ripley vs. Candice LeRae: Shawn Daivari
The Miz vs. Akira Tozawa: Petey Williams & Nick Aldis
