AEW EVP Kenny Omega has commented on a Hall of Famer stating that they would’ve liked to have seen Omega join WWE.
While there was a lot of speculation about Omega potentially signing with WWE when he was still with NJPW, the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion instead helped to found AEW in 2019.
Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley recently noted on Busted Open Radio that he wishes Omega had the opportunity to work with someone like Randy Orton to improve his ring psychology and storytelling skills.
Omega has now re-shared this clip on Twitter, noting that he believes that he would learn a lot from Randy Orton.
Kenny Omega wrote:
I learn something almost every day I’m at a venue. Even the tiniest of details can make a difference.
There’s no doubt in my mind that with someone as unique and successful as Orton, I’d have plenty to learn, absorb, and apply. Tis facts.
The former AEW World Champion recently addressed criticisms of his promo skills and storytelling, which you can read more about at this link.
Kenny Omega has been out of action since being hospitalized with diverticulitis in December 2023.
