Randy Orton Reveals Whether He’s Planning Hollywood Acting Career WWE

Randy Orton has praised both John Cena and Batista for their respective movie careers while discussing his own Hollywood future.

All three were part of the WWE Class of 2002 and have gone on to great success, with Cena and Batista becoming bankable assets in Hollywood.

Speaking to Bleacher Report‘s WrestleRant ahead of Elimination Chamber, Orton shared his thoughts on both men, saying:

“I don’t even try to support Dave, I just support Dave because he’s in half the movies I watch. He’ll just turn up.

“I’m so proud of the guy, man. He’s doing such a great job. He’s killing it. And I respect the hell out of changing from our industry and going into the Hollywood thing because that’s rough.

“To be able to watch guys go do that and kill it like Cena… like, oh my God. Mark my words. In another couple of years, [John is] going to be as big as The Rock. He’s got something special. Nobody can do comedy like John.

“The John that I know, once he’s really able to get into that character and be himself, it’s like Peacemaker was made for him. That role was almost written for him. The way he acts in that, that’s the Cena I used to ride up and down the highway with going from town to town and had all these rivalries with.”

As for a future for himself in movies, while Orton has starred in That’s What I Am, 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded, The Condemned 2, Countdown and Changeland, he doesn’t see himself returning to the movie world.

Commenting that he feels like he is in his wrestling prime, Orton would make it clear where his passions lay, stating:

“I enjoy this life. I enjoy wrestling in front of that live crowd, getting that immediate fix of adrenaline from that reaction and that you can almost be a puppeteer and create these moments and almost listen to the crowd and let them take you on a ride and end up somewhere you didn’t know you were going to go.

“I appreciate you noticing that it comes across in my promos and interacting with the other talent on TV that I’m enjoying being out there because I really am. The more I break out of my comfort zone, which I’ve done over the last few years, the better wrestler, the better talent I am the more that I do that.”

Dave Bautista reprises his role as Glossu Rabban in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two.

John Cena will shortly be seen alongside Zac Efron in Ricky Stanicky and has shared a link to an OnlyFans account under his character name.

Since the revelation of the OnlyFans account, Orton has suggested that the pair should collaborate.
