Real Reason For Cancelled Bryan Danielson Appearance? AEW

The real reason that AEW star Bryan Danielson was pulled from a recent advertised appearance may have been revealed.

Danielson was advertised to be appearing on the WrestleCade Weekend in North Carolina next weekend, but was pulled due to what was said to be ‘unforeseen circumstances’.

WrestleCade announced Bryan’s unforeseen absence on their official Instagram account, writing:

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ve been informed that Bryan Danielson will not be able to appear during #WrestleCade Weekend.

“If you bought an advance ticket to meet him, bring your ticket to the venue and his vendor will let you use it as a credit for one of his other clients appearing at the event including Mandy Sacs, Andrade or Lana. If you don’t want a credit, your refund will be processed accordingly.

“The WrestleCade Weekend Team is sorry that this happened and we hope to have Danielson back at another event in the future.”

Bryan had been out of action with a broken orbital bone, but is set to be a part of the upcoming AEW Continental Classic tournament, as well as a match with Kazuchika Okada at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 18 event on January 4.

Speaking on the AEW Full Gear media scrum, Tony Khan said that he was not sure why Bryan was pulled from the event, but he is set to be on Dynamite next week.

Following up on Khan’s comments, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted that he was told Bryan’s absence was due to clearances regarding him flying due to pressure on his eye.

Khan added that Bryan’s appearances on AEW recently have been by drive.
